Direct publishing to Instagram, Facebook and X — without the copy-paste

July 20, 2026 · 1 min read

The last step of most marketing workflows is the clumsiest: copy the caption from one tool, download the image from another, open each social platform, paste, upload, post. Multiply by three channels and a week of content, and "publishing" becomes an afternoon.

JimmAI closes that gap with direct publishing. Here's how it actually works.

Connect once per channel

You link the social accounts your business publishes to — Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter) all support live direct publishing today. LinkedIn is supported for content planning, with direct publishing coming later; until then, LinkedIn posts are prepared in JimmAI and published by you.

Connections are per business, so an agency-style setup with multiple brands keeps every brand's channels separate.

Approval comes first — always

This is the part we're strict about: nothing publishes without your approval. JimmAI prepares posts — copy, creative, suggested posting time — and brings them to you for review. You can approve, edit, or regenerate. Only approved posts can be scheduled, and only scheduled posts get published.

There is no autopilot mode that ships content behind your back, and team roles control who on your team is allowed to create, approve, and publish.

Scheduling and the calendar

Approved posts land on the content calendar, where JimmAI suggests posting times per platform. You can accept the proposed schedule, drag things around, or set times yourself. When the scheduled moment arrives, JimmAI publishes directly to the connected channel — caption, media, and all.

What this replaces

  • The caption doc, the image folder, and the scheduling tool as three separate places
  • Manually re-uploading the same creative to three platforms
  • The "wait, did this already go out?" spreadsheet

One workflow: prepare, review, approve, schedule — and the publishing happens where it should, in the background.
