Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how JimmAI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the JimmAI website and application (the “Service”). JimmAI is an AI marketing workspace that helps businesses plan, create, review, schedule, and publish marketing content.
By using the Service, you agree to this policy. Questions: Contact us.
Information you provide
- Account information — your name and email address, collected when you create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Business context — brand, product, audience, and other workspace information you add so JimmAI can prepare marketing work for you.
- Content and media — drafts, captions, images, and other materials you create or upload in the Service.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details never touch JimmAI servers.
Facebook and Instagram (Meta) data
When you choose to connect Facebook Pages and/or Instagram Business or Creator accounts to JimmAI, we receive and store information from Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) that is required to operate publishing and related features. This may include:
- Your Meta user identifier and basic profile information needed to complete the connection.
- Facebook Pages you manage (Page IDs, names, and related metadata).
- Instagram Business or Creator accounts linked to those Pages (account IDs, usernames, and related metadata).
- Access tokens (and related authorization metadata) that allow JimmAI to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant.
- Publishing and performance-related data returned by Meta’s APIs when you publish content or sync insights (for example, post IDs, delivery status, and available engagement metrics).
How we use Meta data: solely to provide the features you request — connecting accounts, publishing approved posts to your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts, scheduling posts, and showing channel performance insights inside JimmAI. We do not sell Meta data and do not use it to build unrelated advertising profiles.
Permissions: JimmAI only requests Meta permissions needed for these features (such as listing Pages, reading engagement, managing posts, and Instagram content publishing). You can review and revoke access at any time in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites, and you can disconnect channels inside JimmAI.
Other connected channels
If you connect other channels (for example X), we store the tokens and account identifiers needed to publish on your behalf. You can disconnect those channels at any time in the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To generate marketing work you request and help you review it.
- To publish and schedule content to channels you have connected and authorized.
- To provide support and respond to your inquiries.
- To process billing and manage your subscription.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
How we share information
- Service providers that help us run JimmAI (for example authentication, hosting, payment processing, and AI model providers) under contractual obligations to protect your data.
- Meta and other channel platforms when you connect an account and ask us to publish or sync data — subject to those platforms’ terms and the permissions you grant.
- Legal requirements if we are required to disclose information to comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account, workspace, and connected-channel data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you disconnect a channel, we stop using that channel’s tokens for new publishing. After account or data deletion requests are completed, we delete or anonymize personal data except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or billing purposes.
Data access and deletion
You can request access to or deletion of your JimmAI data at any time.
- Disconnect a channel: use Integrations in JimmAI to disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or other connected accounts. You may also remove JimmAI from Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Request deletion of your JimmAI data: submit a request through our Contact page. Please include the email on your JimmAI account and state that you are requesting data deletion. We will confirm receipt and process the request.
- Meta-initiated deletion: if you remove our app in Facebook and request that your data be deleted, we will process that request in accordance with Meta’s platform requirements and this policy.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.
Children
JimmAI is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
